Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota:<BR /><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div> </div>The Mayo One Pilot for Fixed-Wing provides fixed-wing pilot services primarily originating from the Rochester MN airport with expectation of covering pilot shifts at non-primary bases of operations if needed. Non primary bases of operations could be Jacksonville FL or Phoenix AZ during periods of growth or transition. The Fixed Wing Pilot is expected to follow the Mayo Clinic Culture of Safety by modeling 5 safety behaviors; pay attention to detail, communicate clearly, have a questioning and receptive attitude, hand-off effectively, support each other – the ultimate goal is to place needs of our patients first by ensuring aviation safety. The Mayo One Fixed Wing Pilot will actively participate in management of a Safety Management System (SMS) as well as participate in required simulation training. The Pilot will perform additional tasks as necessary to support the Mayo Clinic air carrier certificate for part 135 operations. The Pilot’s weight must not exceed 250pounds/114kilograms. Class 2 medical exams must be coordinated through the Mayo Clinic Division of Preventive, Occupational and Aerospace Medicine. The position is 0.9 FTE/36 hours per week with every other weekend coverage - day and night 12 hour shifts to include scheduled shifts at non-primary base.
