If the link does not work, this is a pilot in my county who is getting complaints from his neighbors for using his helicopter. I believe the bird is a Robinson. I saw it on the news...beautiful.
Anyway, he is on 12 acres of land and he found a loophole in the law that allows him to have the county lease a parking spot big enough for the helo to land. THe link above may have the video..I caught it on TV. If link does not work, try google on fox 5 news atlanta. then click on news.

This is the dream, have a helo in your front yard and land on the roof at work. Of course a foor that is designated for a helo.

There's a guy here in ROC who had to deal with the same stuff. Bought an Enstrom to fly out of his back yard only to get ordered by the city to not land there.

Light helicopters really don't make that much noise and I'm sure he's not doing repeated approaches.

And WTF was the neighbor saying about "safety concerns"?? What safety concerns?

Guess they're worried about him auto-rotating right into their kitchen.

really !

that would be a great perk..to have a neighbor with a helicopter. Since he is a high powered attorney, they say it is a conflict of interest that he is able to manipulate the law. Hey...I say he found the loop...go for it.
