Pilot Day Rate?

I never knew Ms. Perkins got out of bed for less than 3.

Vigo's giving me 4 to break hotel rules.

That's on the light side, I assure you.

People keep asking me if I'm back and until now I haven't known how to answer that. But yeah...I'm thinkin I'm back.

I currently charge $400/day plus expenses for instruction trips in the Cirrus. I'm actually thinking that's too low.

Are you full time with benefits? Contract? Do you pay for your own recurrent? Occasional gig? International ops? 91 or 135?

Not looking for full time, just a little extra flying/money to pay for house remodel/sea plane rating! One for me one for the wife.

Only looking for contract, I have a full time job with great benefits.
Recurrent...depends on aircraft, I'm current in BE-350, anything else either they pay recurrent or guarantee enough flying and top pay for me to go on my dime.
Not looking for international flying, won't rule it out but then price would be higher.
Either 91 or 135, I'm current in 135 now.

Wow, if you're flying all of this and performing all of these duties in a day, you can set your own price!

THIS! Your question has way to many variables. Want to add: where are you living, flying, and do you pay your own on-the-road expenses?

Not flying all these, it's just what I have types in.

Midwest and looking for day rate plus expenses. I'm not lookin to just build and log time.

Should not really matter what type aircraft, (it does though), but you can't leave experience at home just because it's a single or turbo-prop.

I get $350 to fly a piper Lance on a 4hr round trip about twice a month, and $550 a day for Helo. Idk if that's average or not, but it's slim pickins for pilots and owners lol
