Who still does them?
I'm supposed to but none of the senior pilots ever want one, we send a wx package with their release anyways, all the younger pilots always want a brief as well as their wx package.
Is it like this in most places?
If I need to specifically talk to the CA. I put a remark in the release to call me. I also don't file their flight plan, this way they have to call me.
