Piedmont

I submitted an internal application with a wet CMEL for laughs and got the no email from the recruiter in less than two hours. So they're obviously planning to be around a little longer than next August.

Not exactly true. I got a call from XJT to interview, interview the next week, and class started 1.5 weeks after that... Interview - IOE = 2.5 mo

Ok.......My timeline was about 3 months. Yours, 2.5 months, not including any time between job fair and interview. Not seeing a huge difference here but thank you for the correction. I was just giving a broad example.

That's interesting. Maybe they think the ruling will be pushed back or amended? There's no way someone with 600tt would have the required mins by next year if they haven't even interviewed yet.

Maybe so, my guess is the 800 hour amendment that is running though could get approved.

Whats the details on this? I haven't heard about this yet but did expect it to happen. Do you have a link to the proposal?

I heard the ARC proposed 500 for college, 1000 for military way back when. The NPRM is proposing 1000/750 respectively. I have a buddy up there now negotiating for ALPA and he doesn't think they'll go any lower then that, however, he does think they'll have "levels" of acceptance for the Frozen ATP going all the way up to the current 1500.

I just got off the phone with the Piedmont Airlines pilot recruiter. The minimums for the job fair are the same posted on our website, 600 TT, Comm-Multi-Inst, No multi mins. This will be the only job fair with the reduced minimums. The hours required will increase at our next event in Chicago.

If you have a question about the event, please send me a PM.

Interesting, this pilot shortage talk seems to have the regionals pretty nervous. I know some guys with ATP minimums still on the street, so I would think regionals would be hiring those guys more aggressively. Most regionals don't even respond to their resumes.

Interesting that their minimums now only say that you have to project being able to meet ATP mins by next August figuring an average of 60 hours a month flying reserve, plus 250 PIC. I guess they were going to get tired of posting new minimums every month.

I'd hope so. They are repainting all of their airplanes, and giving all the FOs type ratings and ATPs. Not a cheap feat!
