What "girls" are you talkin' about, Sky? :p :D

Well the twins of course, ;) but also my neighbor and her friends, my girlfriends...basically most of the gals I know who live in the Bay Area....and why you too Miss WildOne....us girls need to go check out that Alaska situation. I hear the ratio is something like 4:1...maybe even more!
WeeeeeDoggiiieeees!...sounds like a good time to me!

Why do I get the impression that most ANYTHING could turn into a good time where you're involved?? And, I mean that in a nice way, Sky. :D Although I don't know if Alaska could handle the 2 of us together. :p

What's up with all the blue? :)

That could easily be the best looking headset flying today!!!!

Glad to see you are putting it to good use...and that it is still flying in Alaska!!!

The other day I took the plane up just to have fun flying around, here are some pics:

Alright, since this was such a beautiful afternoon, after my instructor and I went up and practiced for part of the retake of the checkride, I helped wash one of the schools 182s. Afterwards, my instructor, his girlfriend, and I hopped in for a sightseeing trip to the glacier. Here are some pictures:

No kidding! There are little strips all over the place around here. You drive around, see a little clearing, chances are there's Cub or two tied up in the trees off to one side! There's a strip not too far from my house and a guy has a 180/185 that he must take to work. Every morning around 7:20 I hear him take off.

Very nice pictures, Alec.

I thought you were leaving Sunday?

I was, but my examiner is a pilot for GCI, and he got called out on a trip. So it got moved to Monday. Well, I ended up messing up on a couple parts, so I am going to redo them this afternoon, then I drive home.

ASpilot - By no means do I want to start another Global Warming debate here on the photo forums, but I'm just curious on the status of the glacier melt up there in AK? I was in New Zealand not long ago and visited the Franz Josef Glacier on the South Island and the glacier retreat was a bit alarming, to say the least.

They are always melting. I dont know if they are melting any faster than normal or not. We do have one glacier nearby that is retreating fast, but it has always retreated fast.

I guess that is what I was wondering, if they are retreating faster than normal. Glaciers are awesome.

Are you stalking me? My house is just to the left of the small lake furthest to the left of the picture. . .

I use to live right next to the newspaper offices I think it was called the frontiersman or something like it. I also use to live down the street from the bowling alley/club cant remember the name though. Thanks for bringing back some good memories of Wasilla/Palmer.
