Figured since many of you are posting pics you've taken here, I'll post some of mine that I like. I upload to Jetphotos.net now and then, but many of my personal favorites would never get into their database. I'm no expert, but I hope you enjoy. I made the pics smaller so they don't take forever to load.

Ok...I'll stop there before I crash the server. My camera was stolen from me on a flight from EWR-ORD this summer while I was sleeping.:( I've been spending a lot of time looking at my pictures since I haven't been able to take any for months. I'm aiming to save up for the Canon 5D Mk.II, should be getting it pretty soon. Anyway, hope you guys liked these shots!
 
Those are great pics - sorry to hear about your camera? I blows my mind that someone would steal something on a plane.

They never said they had it, but they might have, but we'll never know about that, will we.;)

Anyway, thanks guys. Glad you like them. Trust me, for every good shot I get I take 50 that don't even come out. Take that AS 734 shot for example, it took an hour of arrivals for just ONE panning shot to come out like that haha. If you take enough pictures, you'll eventually get ones you like.

Blows my mind that someone stole my camera too. Especially since as a gate agent I've returned thousands of dollars worth of stuff(cameras, phones, ipods, kindles, wallets, ect) to people who left stuff behind on planes. So much for Karma, huh?

I don't upload to A.net, but I do upload to Jetphotos every now and then. I've uploaded every shot I've posted here to JP.net, and only a few got thru. Most of the stuff I upload there gets rejected for either not having the reg written down(god forbid no one knows which of 3 Qantas A380s it is), or for a setting being ever so slightly different then what the screener thinks it should be. Once that happens, I don't re-edit, if its good enough to satisfy me thats all that matters. Of the photos I do have on the site, I think I'm number 20 or so in average fews per photo(at about 2,300 hits a photo) out of a few thousand photographers. Factor in the fact my shots were taken with a cheap camera and the cheapest lens on the markert(ask JordanD, it wouldn't even work half the time...literally), and I take great pride in that:) For me its a hobby, and I'm just having fun. I'm happy my photos are so popular, but I honestly don't think they are worth the attention they get.

Since I got such positive feedback from you guys(wasn't expecting anyone to really take an interest actually), here are a few more of my favorites.

Once I get back on my feet with a new camera, I'd be more than happy to get shots of any of you guys flying if you ever wanted a picture of that sort. I know I always hope someone will get a shot of me landing the mighty 172 that I can have. Hope you enjoyed!:)
 
Wow, great stuff. I need to get back into aviation photography like this.

(I always get that urge around thanksgiving when it gets cold out to go do these outdoor aviation activities, RC flying is one I am getting back into as well...)

Do it! Its a lot of fun and you meet really cool people. Infact the whole reason I came to JC is because of friends I made thru planespotting who pointed me over here.
 
Nicely done! Some good shots in there. My fav is the Air New Zealand shot, creative framing and well done. I'm not typically keen on standard airliner shots, so creative thinking like that scores high! :)
