There was a P3 and a P2 parked in CHA for a week or so. One morning they were gone-about the time Santa Barbra started burning.

I did, I flew on Tanker 00 on Thursday, and 22 on Friday.

As terrible and destructive as this fire was to our town, these pics are pretty cool.

Glad it is finally under control. Finals are coming up and I really didn't want to deal with missed classes this close to the end of the semester.

We only contract with the feds, so this technically was not a CA fire but a Fed fire so no biggie for CA, except the wasted bucks on the DC-10. What a joke.

Not the right tool for the mountains, much better for a plains fire or light fuels.
