Pics from Daytona Beach area

These first four are just above the layer at 3000'. Instructor took them while i was doing refresher training. These were down towards New Smyrna Beach in December.

This one was just out of DAB as we were crossing the Halifax River. Note that beachside can't eb seen due to fog.

This one was also taken crossing the Halifax. You cna just see the tops of the high rise condos thorugh the fog. I believe they are about 15 stories high or so.
Both days were bad to start out as I was preparing for the flight and my instructor kinda wanted to cancel. I believed and trusted in the forecast and went ahead to the airport. Both times, just as we taxiied out the weather started clearing.

I ahve to give credit to my instructor though for taking the pics.

It was pretty cool seeing sights like that though after I had taken about 5 years off from flying.
