A friend of mine and I flew to Dallas last, late January to "rescue" two Coatimundis (essentially they are "mutant" Racoons that live only two places in the world; here in the SW U.S and in S. America).

These are a few of the pics from the trip.

The PBY was on the ramp at FFZ the morning we left.

The B-29 is "FiFi" based at the Midland, TX CAF Wing and is the only flying B-29 in existence (I think).
 
Heh .. it's all about what youre used to ... a "standard" six pack would probably throw me for a loop!

And no the last paint job on the bird was in '89 I believe. I'd have to check the logs to be sure. She has light hail damage but other than that the bird is in great shape. It was hangagerd for the 10 years up to the point we bought it.
 
Did those mutant racoons stink? I bet you didn't stick your fingers in the cage did you? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
