Pets on the airlines

We had a Chihuaha (did I spell that right?) get loose one night on our way to LAX. It was mid-flight, so we were up in the FWD galley grazing on leftovers and here comes this little dog strutting into the galley looking for a handout.

The owner got a talking-to about keeping their carry-on pet in it's container!

I wonder how much my 118 pound mastiff would cost?

[/ QUOTE ]

In USD about $224.67
In Euro roughly E173.82

I guess they could have been lying though cause our cat did die shortly after the flight cause he freaked out and was meowing the whole trip and got dehydrated. At least that's what the vet told us.

Hmmm. I'm starting to think that taking some of my cats on my next trip might not be such a bad idea.

Just put them in your flight case ;-). I remember reading something about strange uses for fligh cases somewhere and one was to sneak a cat into a hotel that didn't allow pets :-)

<b>Nole, why the downer on them? They're a legit 135 op out of Boca,/b> that specializes in animal lovers...

As in Boca Raton? Never seen them around here.

Looks like they've shut down for the winter according to their website. Probably start back up again now that dog show season is here. They fly Pilatus aircraft, so it probably would look like just another charter single engine TP.
