yeah it is, the C-17 is an awesome plane. I remember when they were resurfacing the runway out at Yokota. They did it half at a time so that the base didn't become 100% useless. The c-130s and C-17s could still operate, but the learjets had to be stationed somewhere else....now that's bass ackwards. First time I saw the c-17 approaching I didn't know it could land so short. I thought "hmm...the runway must be open now" and I looked over to see the huge barrier sitting 4,000ft down the runway. Pretty impressive.
