I think OU has a bridge program with American Eagle. Dugie is right though. Make sure you do some very thorough research and soul searching before you make your decision. Weigh all the pros and cons of staying and going to another school. Good luck to you.

thanks. thats why im trying to make this the final move, if i go through with it.

TXAviator, here ya go http://aviation.sosu.edu/

the thing you need to realize that I wish I would have known is that you can live anywhere these days and still get an Aviation degree. You can live in Aus and get an Aviaition degree online from Utah Valley Sate through your local flight school. People at my flight school here in Ft. Lauderdale are getting degrees from Riddle through local corespondence courses. It' all about where you really want to live these days!

yeah but the real question is... do i get to fly the Concorde i see on their main page??!??!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?

Only if you can refer to a cigarette as a •, and keep a straight face, call your apartment a flat and not want to go get a pump, call the TV a telly and not think of a some little freaky blue creature with antennas (yup Im a dad), oh you see where Im going with this....

I think it is a national birth rite for both British and French that they get to fly the Concorde, however most French never make it, as they surrender at the first sign of airport security.

He's wrong. He hasn't been here for a long time. His information is outdated. He's misinforming everyone. Stupid is the person who listens to him. Stage assignments go to my U-mail account.

You won't take a hit then. The hours you get in the 102 course do not count towards the commercial course, if I remember correctly. You will then start at OU, might have to do a test course, maybe not, that is one thing I didn't think was right that UND does/did.

You made the same mistake I did, left one school just before finnishing one degree to fly, you will be kicking yourself in a few years! :argue:

Many things I agree, and disagree with Dugie8, he just can't present it right like a true cfi, but for shizza he loves to be a tool in college. The door that kicks the arse on the way out will kick his face on the way in with ****e smudged on it. Good luck visiting UND and old buds, I just got of the box called techmology and intranet with email and msged all your colleagues GOOD LUCK!

I think that UND is absolutley flawless and is right for doing the test course, how did you become a pilot, sheesh clear the skies. :sarcasm: :argue: Dugie style.. Ruff aooo rahh

haha

You gotta grow some thicker skin bud. Every school is going to have its issues, including OU. It is all in how you deal with them. This crap is expensive, and the whole independant thing is a joke (loan whise), but do you really think jumping schools, paying more tuition until you get resident status is a good idea? You have fixed the billing problem, and must have access to more financial aid. UND may not be the cheapest, but you can't put a price on the network you are building. You will build a network at OU, but how big will it be compared to UND? Look down the road 10 years and think of how many people you will know in that many different aspects of aviation alone, VS, OU??

OMG is Dugie8 becoming softer and kind hearted, caring person? NO what happend to you? Your helmet is getting loose. screw it in tighter and be ya old dugie8 so we can :argue:

All in all, one school isn't any better than the other, education whise (sp?) It is the people, the sheer volume of people at UND in aviation. I can still call back and ask people in the department for letters of rec, advice etc, and they still know me. But don't let anger drive your decisions, shiiit happens anywhere, and believe it or not, it doesn't happen anymore or less at UND, I'd say it's about average. If a minor hiccup in communication gets your blood boiling, whats going to happen when your ready to push out of EWR and can't get a word in edgwise to ramp control? It's not the situation, it is how you deal with it. Do you go thermonuclear, or do quietly pull out your beatdown stick (don't get any perverted thoughts) and have that problem see things your way?

Ok something is really wrong with Dugie8, his responses are getting out of the tool to a cool, wtf..?

haha the english they use back at home.. I still f* with em though with the 'merican accent

AIMS? Wrong. You're outdated. It's crewlink that you change it in.

You can do that, but also, when you are put in for a stage check, your instructor can change number and email address.

Oh, the irony.

Average? That sounds like one of those 67% of statistics that are made up on the spot.

Did you derive this observation from personal experience at numerous institutions of higher learning, or did you use some other method of research? Or, was your education as lacking in research methods as it was in spelling?

:)

I didn't perceive any boiling blood until he was treated to the childish behavior of someone who appears to be offended that someone would not worship their alma mater (that's the school that you graduated from, just in case you didn't get it). He asked legitimate questions, and got grief. Apparently, the only way that he should see things is the way you see them, right?

Sorry... I just had to type. I'll go back to lurking now.

I love the post.

Re: Who'd a thunk it?

Nah, I'm sure he did, especially from the Dugiehick. It's the repeated crap posted by a defensive hick who will post anything just to defend UND.
