Nice to see all the movement! 2008 hire buddy of mine just got SEA 330 as well, he wasn't sure he'd do the upgrade as he was hired a little later in life. Pretty stoked for him and hopefully I can heckle his landings soon.

Is his retirement better with a short time in the left seat? UPS still has a pension and to get Capt pension payout you need to do one revenue trip in the left seat. We had F/O's who upgraded, IOE, one trip, and walked away. UPS hated that.

No difference with retirement other than larger 401k contributions with the bigger paycheck. No pension here.
