PCSM Score

I took the TBAS today and got my PCSM within a couple hours, a 96. Like others have said, I didn't feel like I was doing that well, but with my hours and AFOQT I guess it all worked out OK.

Now I need to schedule my MEPS phys and really get in talking with a few of the units that are hiring. I have searched baseops and hopefully I will be visiting a couple units in the next couple weeks.

If anyone hears anything about a particular unit hiring, don't be afraid to let me know :D.

Awesome, nice score. I remember thinking I didn't do so well either, it was nice not having to wait a week to get the results though.

Good luck.

Wantscheck isnt always up to date with all the current units hiring. Its best to lookup each individual unit that you want to apply to and contact a recruiter about their upcoming pilot hiring board. Most units have a section on their website about it including links to some of the forms that they require you to fill out.

Good Luck!

One thing wantscheck does have is the list of all the ANG/AFR units out there... I just got the list and called every single one and asked them if there was a board or not if they didn't already have the info on their site...I got extremely lucky and ended up getting picked up by a fighter unit.

like what WIflyboy said.....Definitely good to make contact with the unit over the phone if you can...

The funny thing you may see is that in one given year - there's a group of a lot of the same guys (applicants) you'll see/hear from interview to interview. Some great dudes...some very weird ones....

either way good luck dude!

One thing to note is that the list is not up to date. Some of the units listed have been closed down by the BRAC, some have been re-designated unit numbers or aircraft, and new units have been formed that are not listed. So make sure the unit you are trying to contact still exists or even still has a flying mission before you make the call.
