PATCHES

A Life Aloft

Dear Dr. Forred,

Since Lidocaine and some NSAIDS are approved meds, would this also include Flector Patches (it contains 1.3% diclofenac epolamine) and Lidocaine patches as well? I tried these while off work for a few days for OA pain relief on my knees and had rather good results. I also take Motrin at night before bed.

Thank you in advance for your time and advice, sir.

Thank you very much, Dr. Forred for your quick response. I had looked on a list of FAA meds and could not find Flector. That is very good news. My Rheumatologist had given me a couple of both patches as samples to try. Really appreciate your help. Now I can go get a script filled for the Flector. I was worried it wouldn't be approved because it is prescription strength. Thanks again. As I always say, at my age I am lucky that the FAA keeps expanding it's list of approved meds. lmao
