Past special issuance

It's been a long time, but I did have a special issuance for a little bit due to a very minor issue. Which brings my question....I'm considering using an AME other than the one I've been using since 2013 because I'm in the middle of aircraft transition training and won't be home much. I'm told by friend's that he's good UNLESS you have issues...one even said if you've had a previous issue to stay away. Would he even know I had a special issuance before? It's been over 6 years...really haven't had any health issues my entire life other than that 1 minor thing to be honest.

Hi A150K,

Yes the new AME will be able to tell if you have had a special issuance in the past. When your confirmation number is pulled up in MedXpress your last certificate class and limitations would be available.
