Passenger strips down on Spirit flight - Where do they get these people?

I've been to Bourbon Street once. I got robbed by 2 girls =\

F that city and probably 60-70% of the people in it.

My wife didn't understand why when we took a cruise out of there I had no desire to "see the sights." So we saw the sights one night.... now she feels the same way I do about it.

Our overnight hotel is very close to "the sights."

How the hell could people still be piss roaring, hoot hollaring drunk at 1/2am, on a Tuesday in September, is beyond me.

That, or alcoholism...

I stopped through there during Mardi Gras once and it was not worth it at all. The French Quarter seemed really small and it was way to crowded. I kept thinking I was going to get stabbed if I strayed away from where the people were. The historical aspect of the city is cool but it just had this feeling of being too dangerous to even bother exploring stuff without a weapon.

The same reason our flights are packed with families going to Disney DURING the school year. It's all about them.

My folks pulling me out of school to go on a vacation was simply unthinkable back in the day. Hell, I had be bleeding out of my eyeballs just to get a sick day.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, and I don't know if it's Monsanto, beef hormones, or what - but clearly we're being poisoned by something and it's making us flippin' crazy.

I'm not kidding that much.

And fat.

I get it that our diets aren't the best. But I'm currently in the motherland of beer and meat products. There are beefy people for sure, but not on the size and scale (heh) that we have.

Koyannisqatsi.
It's not just an increase in crazy and cancer.
Large study just out shows massive drop in sperm count across Western Nations. (other nations weren't studied.)

I'm reading Strangers in their Own Land right now, which is about a sociologist who visits Louisiana and talks to people who've seen their community completely wasted from petrochemical plants, and yet who still support tea party efforts to kill the EPA. I mean families where every single sibling who grew up along this one river getting a cancer of some sorts by their 50s, and yet they blame the government. Crazy.

Yup. And now they've elected President Camacho. Idiocracy would have been a prescient movie save that the great dumming down was already well underway when the script was penned.
Drink more Brawnda!! It'll all be fine. ;)
