Passenger left on plane

Jesus..reminds me of when they find a sleeping child on a school bus. How the hell does stuff like this happen? (From both sides!)

The same way a baby stroller is able to roll in front of a train. People just don't pay attention to what they should be doing.

Ya think?! It was kind of a rhetorical question.

I can't imagine how deep of a sleep the female passenger was in to have not woken up in 4 hours. (I'm jealous!)
I'm not even going to venture a guess as to how the FA(s) missed her. Oh and the cleaning crew too, if indeed they ever cleaned the plane.

Weird....

Benydril and booze. Lights out.

This ain't the first time. I remember Mesaba did this at some outstation down south years ago in a Saab. Apparently the passenger woke up in the middle of the night, and couldn't get out of the plane because he couldn't figure out how to open the door. They found him the next morning when it was time for the early morning departure.

Happened to a Comair plane in BOS too.

It was actually a serviceman in uniform returning home. he woke up in a dark airplane opened up the door and started to wander the ramp trying to get out until massport got him.

Huh... It must be a Philly thing. We had a passenger who didn't get off the plane in PHL about two weeks ago. The FO caught it though and went back to wake her up.

Turns out she was dead.

Well, at least she had an excuse not to deplane....

If there is a requirement to search the plane before cabin crew deplanes then obviously something procedurally was missed. Otherwise, covered with a blanket, pax quietly sleeps, everybody leaves, lights go out and sleeping beauty continues to cut zzzzz's. Certainly not something for Ripley's.
