FINALLY after screwing around misguided for 35 years, then trying to get VFR time in during crappy Cleveland wx, I passed my checkride yesterday. It was, as usual, not nearly as bad as I thought, and the examiner was pretty cool overall. I learned a few things & he talked about warbirds and everything else he's done in the past.
OK now on to IFR starting next week!!

Congrats!

Who do you fly with and where in Cleveland? I know all too well how the crappy wx in NE Ohio can keep you on the ground for months at at time.

I actually fly out of AKR, but no one outside the midwest would know where Akron is, I'm guessing :-), same weather, a bit less snow... Its a pretty cool place with lots of history, though, big-a$$ AirDock, Goodyear blimp doing low approaches on nice days, etc.
