And now i get a pay raise :) But beyond that, it feels like a great accomplishment. I know that theres weekend courses out there, but having to try and do this for a job is one of the most challenging experiences ive encountered in my aviation career, and also the most rewarding. I can shoot a raw data ILS down to 200 and 1/2 five times at night half asleep, but it doesn't nearly match the thrill of landing with wings hanging over a canal and jumping white tops at 60 kts.

Screw the airlines, i think i found my calling :laff::beer:

Happy for you man, congratulations.

1) What kind of airplane?
2) Do you have some pictures to share with us (or will you)?

we have 180's, 185's, 206 amphibs, a super cub, and an amphib beaver. Although I wont be touching the beaver, haha.

Heres one of our 185's I took to a facility last week. Thats a jack-up boat in the background. I have no experience in the oil industry, so im having to learn all this terminology now, its kinda

Sweet. Some of my most fun flying ever is the very small amount of float time I've got. Its even more fun to couple float flying with an instrument approach. Hmm, lets do a practice GPS circle to land, to the lake?

I didnt pay for anything out of pocket except for the checkride. I just have to pay my boss back $1500 within a year. Not a bad deal IMO

Oh wow not bad at all. I was just wondering because it's on my to do list as well, albeit pretty far down. :p
