Occasional travel may be required.</em></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>Aircraft Dispatchers, also known as Aviation Operations Coordinators, are vital members of the Operations Control Center (OCC). Supporting pilots and in-flight medical crews during MEDEVAC, charter, and other air transport missions. This role combines flight planning, operational coordination, and exceptional customer service.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Tasks/ Functions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate dispatch packages for Air Ambulance, Charter, and Government contracted missions.</li> <li>Plan, coordinate and deliver flight plan routing, fuel requirements and weather analysis to pilots.</li> <li>Coordinate and monitor Air Ambulance and Charter flights from start to finish.</li> <li>Dispatch aircrew and aircraft to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using Dispatch software systems.</li> <li>Relay transportation requests, messages, or information to or from aircrew.</li> <li>Ensure timely and efficient movement of aircraft, according to transportation requests and aircraft schedules.</li> <li>Communicate effectively and efficiently with all CSI departments and Leadership.</li> <li>Track and follow up on flight progress (Flight Following).</li> <li>Communicate directly with customers to gather mission requirements and provide updates and ETAs.</li> <li>Plan flights considering weather, aircraft performance, crew duty limits, and operational requirements.</li> <li>Brief flight crews and clinical teams on mission details and updates.</li> <li>Maintain situational awareness of all active flights and respond to changes or delays.</li> <li>Work closely with pilots, maintenance, medical, and air traffic services to ensure safe and efficient operations.</li> <li>Analyze and interpret weather reports, NOTAMs, and other operational data to ensure flight safety.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coordinate with flight crews to provide in-flight support, including rerouting.</li> </ul> <p><em>Benefits:</em></p> <ul> <li><em>401(k)</em></li> <li><em>401(k) matching</em></li> <li><em>Dental insurance</em></li> <li><em>Health insurance</em></li> <li><em>Paid time off</em></li> <li><em>Vision insurance</em></li> </ul> <p><em>Schedule:</em></p> <ul> <li><em>12-hour shift, 4/3 - 3/4 work week</em></li> <li><em>Holidays</em></li> <li><em>Weekend</em></li> </ul> <p><strong>CSI Aviation, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
