Read that the pilots were brothers and their father died in a PIA crash in 1992.

With any luck there's another generation already born to carry the torch! So to speak.
As they say in in Kentuckistan, "water finds its own level".

There's nothing funny about this crash. Unlike plane crashes in the west where victim families can probably stand to get millions in the lawsuits that follow, these family members are going to get comparatively much smaller sum of rupees which in no way replaces the lost income potential of the dead fathers and brothers (primary bread winners in that part of the country). The CA had a wife and three young girls. One of the FAs had two young kids she left with her in laws in order to work that day, and this flight was supposed to be the end of the working trip.

Not sure where exactly this happened, or why it happened, but Karachi Center is THE most incompetent and least professional ATC agency I have ever dealt with. Not to mention that they refused to answer female aviators due to religious BS at the detriment of safety of flight on a regular basis, and by that I mean I never once heard them roger up a call from a woman. F*** those clowns and their "culture", if you can call it that without vomiting a little in your mouth. Even as a dude, I eventually just stopped even checking in with them. If you are going to play f*** f*** games and pretend you are "negative radar contact" just to prevent me from doing what I need to do to avoid a massive thunderstorm, I will do whatever the F I want, which I did regularly.

I agree with you, but don't bother explaining that here. You're talking to some of the same idiots who thought the Cirrus Jet death pool thread was hilarious.

This is northern Pakistan, which should be the Lahore FIR. I still don't see how Karachi's controllers are relevant in dealing with woman pilots in regards to this crash. There were no female pilots in this crash, nor was Karachi Center involved. They were actually talking with Islamabad approach sector when things went wrong. Mayday went out ~ 1613L, and everything lost (radar, radio, etc) by 1616L.

It is starting to feel that this whole Trump election cycle has emboldened people to lash out, even when it's completely irrelevant to the topic and outcome at hand.

Don't take life to serious people. No one gets out alive anyway (or is that also too "dark" and morbid?).

No it isn't. There is a huge difference between a statement of fact (death) and using a fatal accident where certain people's loved ones were lost to flex one's humor muscles.

I'm not sure if you have a family or not, but I'm not too sure you'd enjoy it if I hopped on JC to make off-color humorous remarks about a plane crash in which your wife and kids just perished.

I wouldn't really care because the last thing I would be doing is reading your posts on a forums.

I've always found the best way for me to deal with tragic or difficult situations is with off color and dark humor. It is natural to joke about that which scares us.
