So this probably isn't as exciting for those of you who get to do this everyday, but when I sit in a cubicle and get to see a V22 Osprey tiltrotor fly by my window one day and 2 army (?) helicopters carrying humvees and then offload on the field next door the previous day...well it almost makes sitting at the desk tolerable. 
First time ever seeing tiltrotors and helo's with external loads.
Good thing I'm a few floors up and not on the ground floor of the building.
But the lesson learned is I need to start brining my camera to work with me...
