I have 33hrs to kill in Ottawa in a couple weeks. Any tips on what to do?

Drive to Montreal I guess. It's literally one of the most boring cities I've been to.

Where are you staying? The downtown area is great with a ton of stuff to do.

Ottawa isn't so bad. If you're near downtown you can get a free tour of the Parliament building. Rent a bike and bike along the Rideau Canal. Walk around Byward Market and grab a beer on a patio. The Canadian Mint is right there and isn't a bad tour, I've done it twice. (about $7)

This is true. It's a great summer layover if you're downtown.

I disagree with Ottawa being boring. It is a beautiful city and I was sorry to see it go as an overnight. Now does it have St. Catherine's Street? No, but there is still much to do. Of course it also depends on where you stay and the time of year. Fond memories of ice skating on the canal during winter.
