I thought you had to pretty much do 102 in day conditions (with the exception of a few night lessons). Don't worry about getting night time, you can do just about all of 221 and 222 at night.

Speaking of flight labs, I wonder when they are going to post the instructors for the fall. I'm just curious who my 325 instructor is going to be.

Ive actually got more than 100 hours already, and my private, so Im just doing the test course.

Ah, I see. I didnt realize you were doing the test course. Enjoy your evening launch. Other than early morning, the evening is my fav time to fly.

The thing is is I got into the habit of not going to the boring classes and started doing it in accounting 200 with Ness. Going to his class is still kind of pointless because you just get that much more confused and fall asleep anyway because the guy talks like Ben Stein(you know, the guy from the clear eyes commercial) Guess what grade I got in that class. Just put it this way, I'm retaking it this semester.

LOL he does sound like that Clear Eyes commercial guy. I got a D the first test and amazingly pulled a B for my overall final grade in Ness' Accounting 200 class. That guy is so boring - I have his voice recorded on my cell phone in case anyone cares to understand what hell I went through sitting through his class. Problem is, I am taking Accounting 201 from him this Fall semester! One thing you must do is DO ALL THE HOMEWORK and keep up with it. Accounting is a LOT of procedural memorization which is NOT fun to memorize.

Studying accounting is one thing I found VERY hard to do. I would seriously sit down to study, study for like five minutes, look at my watch, and realize I've been staring at the wall for 20 minutes.

This semester I understand what I must do so I'll be alright this time.

How difficult would it be to take 221 and 222 and maybe one Gen ed class like public speaking in one summer??? would that be too much?

221 and 222 in one summer? tough, and that's an optimistic outlook.

Academically not too bad, it's the flying that will be a problem. Isn't the last half of 221 still in the sim though? (been a while)

The last 7 lessons of 221 are in the sim. I was SO far ahead when I was in 221, then it came time to do the long cross country and yeah, you probably know the story.

I completed 221 in 25 days during the summer of 2003, and finished 222 in time to do 323 in the fall of 2003. So yes, it can be done, just have to be motivated to do it, and get some fair weather days.

Motivated? Sure, why not? But the weather is what's gonna hold you back. That long x-country is, indeed, the barrier.
