Just finished my first week at Honda as a member of their sales team! Super excited for a great new opportunity. Hoping to get some more HondaJets in the area. Goal is to get typed by next summer which is an added bonus. For those with G3000 time the integration into the system is incredible. Lightyears head of the G3000 in M2, TBM etc.

PS of course for anyone looking to buy you know how to find me. I'll be covering the best (west) coast!

Couldn't get Daher to pick up the phone! Kodiak will be interesting with the acquisition but it's still hard to beat the Caravan.

It's a good 1.X million dollar personal airplane.

There was 1 up here and they sold it and got a pc-12.

I'd rather have a PC12 any day - I almost went to work for Resolve at the time, the airplane choice was a big reason why I didn't at the time.

The only think the Kodiak has over the PC12 is you can put it on floats.
Looking at the PC12 you'd never think it outperforms a Kodiak off pavement.

Congrats! Honda is a great plane.

And it designation is totally out of sight, man. Like, High As 420, dudes! That designator alone should make your West-Coast rich-guy sales quota.

But does the G-money Toy FMS implementation in the HA420 descend all the way to the FAF, or still stop at the fix outside the FAF? Bwahahaha!

I just met some of GE's Honda drivers the other day at HPN, so I already know the answer. ;)

I mean the Kodiak will outperform the PC12 in terms of takeoff distance... but there's no market to move 1700lbs to 400' gravel bars at 175kts.

On the other hand, there is a lot of a market to move 2300lbs of stuff to 1600' strips two or more hours away at 265kts.

290kts in the new revision, at least according to marketing.

I fly an NG (and a legacy), that's overly optimistic at best. Maybe there are some aerodynamic mods on the NGX, I don't know... but if you do any sort of reduced power setting for cruise or climb.... 290 seems unbelievable. I'd love to find out though, the NG is the coolest airplane I've ever flown.

1100 hp for cruise vs. 1000 in the NG. Also bumped thermo rating to 1825. I’ve never seen the 285 claimed for the NG but I’d believe that the X is faster.

Still no skyway tho, positively caveman-like.

Holy •, the thermo rating is 1825?! That's basically spaceship levels of thrust available...

I mean it’s still derated the same percent for cruise, so either you’ll get an extra 100 HP at a given altitude, or you can maintain old-NG power quite a bit higher. Of course you’ll burn more gas, but fuel endurance on a PC12 is academic anyway as it’s longer than anyone wants to sit in one.

The airframe mod evolution is impressive. The legacies were pretty heavy in roll.

The displays are much better than the G-Toys, but I'd like the new Pilatupi better with steam gauges, or nice big color screens controlled by discrete switches and knobs. Similarly, while much better than the G-Toy nested menu nightmare, the whole track ball thing is way too video game for me.

The truly advanced technology remains invisible. When the tool becomes an impediment to the job, is it even a tool anymore?
