One way to get back at your kids

One of my (adult) kids was flying back from Europe. She bought her own ticket and was sitting in coach

I wasn't working the flight yet I sent an acars to the crew letting them know one of the pax was mine.

I said, "Don't spoil but you are allowed to embarrass the heck out of her."

They replied "right on...LOL."

Seems the FA's gave her a birthday party with cheese cake and all sorts of other silly things. Her birthday is still months away.

After it was all done, she asked the FA's to tell the front end crew thank you. The Capt printed out the acars message I sent and it was given to her

Here message to me was - You win!, that flight crew went above and beyond any other crew Ive had in the embarrassment category

So any other stories from out there?

I wish I had cool stories like this. The one time I have my family on a flight I’m dispatching the crew ignored all my ACARS after I asked them to say hi to my autistic brother in law. Maybe something else happened, maybe they wanted to and forgot before landing but it still bothers me.
