Well, got back from Houston late last night with books in hand, and class starts on the 4th. Needless to say I am super happy.

I just want to thank CaptainBob, FlyerJosh, and My Flight Surgeon for taking the time and answering some stupid questions for me. I would also like to thank the other members here for doing the same, just without knowing it.

Congrats!

Talk about a change in scenery! From the confines of a jail to the flight levels (although sometimes the TSA makes you feel like you're in-processing;))!

Congrats and welcome aboard. You will love it here.
Study hard in training, and dont let the sims rattle ya....they are designed to do that. Especially Sim 4. You will see what I am talkin about when you get there. In the meantime, enjoy this feeling. Its a good one, I know.

Just curious. How did you get that multi time? I plan on becoming a CFII, but I don't know of many MEI opportunities around here. How did you get your multi time?

You should get either of those easily, as they are the most junior bases for us right now. Of course, there's a slight chance if you are one of the youngest in the class, you could get sent to CLE or elsewhere.
