On the Move Again

Sometimes I feel like I can't shake the military move syndrome where you pick up and move to a new job or location every 3-4 years!

This will be my last full week at Pratt & Whitney. Learned a lot about making jet engines, but manufacturing is definitely not for me. Getting back to Southern Jets International has been eluding me as they hire a lot from within, so I had to look elsewhere as well

I start at Southwest TechOps on March 2nd in Dallas. It's going to be different not being directly involved in the maintenance operation or being a manager, so this will be interesting for sure!

Welcome! I really enjoy chatting with our mechanics, and they are all great to work with. This place can be a bit nutty sometimes but it is a great place to work.

Also I think AMFA still has the Regular Plan health insurance option for new hires, take a good look at it. The company will try to steer you away from it but it can really help you save money.
