On the field diner or restaurant GA, SC

My brother and I want to do some flying next week in GA and SC. Wondering if anyone can recommend a fun airport to fly into where they would have an airport diner or restaurant located on the field? Thanks!

PDK in Atlanta has the Downwind restaurant (bar and pretty good cafe style food) in the old tower building on field, and the 57th Fighter Group restaurant (WW2 theme, good food, bar side and fancy dining side) right next to the airport. Bar side of the 57th has an outdoor patio right next to a taxiway, and the Downwind has seating where you can look down on the ramp and the central part if the airport. PDK is/was the second busiest airport in the state, so lots of business and GA plane traffic to see. There is also a concrete slab outside the bar at the 57th where they sometimes park a P-40, a DC-3, or some other warbird, and a yellow Waco used to pick up air tour passengers right from the patio area.

McCollum Field (RYY) in Kennesaw has a chop house restaurant on the north side ramp area. Never been there but I saw a lot of folks eating there, and heard the food was good. Kennesaw has a train museum and Kennesaw Mountain Civil War Battlefield National Park nearby too. There is also a Stearman biplane tour company at RYY.

Yes! The Best. Right off the runway. You can also stop at Jekyl Island next door and get a cheap electric vehicle to drive around in. Also a cool sea turtle hospital. Gorgeous area.

Downwind at PDK is my personal favorite - I have taken droves of students there and they love it. It is a deck view of the intersection of 21L, 21R, and 34. You owe it to yourself to fly into PDK if you haven't already. :D 57th at PDK and Elevation Chophouse at RYY are the upper echelon of airport restaurants and both are delicious with fantastic views. Hawthorne at RYY will waive the ramp fee and just charge a $5 "security fee" for Elevation customers. Downwind and 57th do not have free parking available.

Barnstormer's at Peach State GA2 is great. Free parking.

1 down vote for flying machine. Bland food, and you may or may not find hairs in it. Besides that, LZU is sleepy and the views are not as good as the others. GA parking is free though.

Spitfire was closed at WDR earlier this year after a murder in the family.

Beautiful area and a nice friendly little airport and FBO. Last time I was at Southern Soul Phil Mickelson was at the next table. Like someone else said grab a car and cruise around the area, it's a cool spot.
