On scheduling and Christmas bidding

As a newly checked out 717 pilot, I have not flown since September, and don't plan to fly again until February.

He's doing it right. Year three FO and I've got Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years off. Pbs definitely screwed up. @Autothrust Blue

I work Christmas with a 12noon checkin. However, off inclusive Dec 29-Jan 1. Our January schedules came out and FAR 117 looks.......... interesting.

I'll be spending Christmas in Sydney. Someone's gotta do it.

New Years off by default due to the CBA requiring 7 days off between pairings. January pairings look the same because freight.
