I haven't posted much since I've joined but I am a regular reader. I basically came to Jetcareers for advice since the beginning. I'm now working for a charter company in remote Australia flying a 210 and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Did you grow up in Australia or did you move there from the states? Do pilot ratings transfer from the US to there?

I grew up in Australia. FAA licenses are transferable to Australian, you just have to sit the Air Law theory exam (I think). I don't think FAA ratings are transferable though, may have to do a flight test to get say an instrument rating transfered.
