Thanks, yeah, going through it now. Looks to be a ~40% increase in base pay rates across the board, but there are some other work rule changes I'm sorting through right now that could lead to soft pay credit.
Looks like a typo. DC-10s are still around.![]()
any scheduling improvements?
I hope you guys have official help from a group that has done this before. I'm sure your guys negotiated in good faith and to the best of their abilities, but IMHO, first offer on a first contract and the company is just sitting on its hands hoping you "fall for" whatever hook they have hidden in the bait.

To your question regarding the holding company: I'm honestly not 100% sure how the company is structured.
Since this is a private company, they have a number of subsidiaries and whatnot that aren't exactly clearly laid out. The company originally refused to negotiate scope, using the excuse of "Omni is a leasing company first, and an airline second."

Answer
I'd vote Holding company....
Except as provided elsewhere in this Agreement, the purpose of this subsection is to ensure, without limitation, that all revenue flying performed by or for or on behalf of the Company or any subsidiary of the Company, the Company’s parent or any subsidiary of the Company’s parent, or any of their affiliates (collectively designated for purposes of this Section as the “Omni Parties”), and any future airline certificate(s) created or obtained by the Omni Parties, and all present and future flying and all charters, ferry flights (not including ferry flights of newly acquired aircraft prior to being placed in revenue service), training flights, test flights, or other utilization of aircraft operated, owned or leased by the Omni Parties shall be performed by Crewmembers on the System Seniority List;
Probably. On re-reading the Scope section and having attended one of the road shows, it seems they've addressed the holding company issue:
Either way, if they want to find a way around Scope, they will...

Look man, the only reason Pinnacle corp went to bat with the 3 companies was because of the Mesaba scope. They couldn't find any way around. Scope is attainable.

It's only strong if the holding company signs the agreement. If only the airline signs it, then the holding company isn't bound.
Overall it does look like good improvement. The thing that scares me the most is the language regarding basing. I wish I could see how that would turn out before my interview... Home basing is a great thing. But if this is signed, the company can VERY much take advantage of how that works...
Our agreement was between the airline (CHQ) and the pilots, but the scope held to the holding company.
