Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, NY

Just going through some travel memorabilia and came across info from our visit to Old Rhinebeck - has anyone else been there and witnessed "the show" ?

I went to Rhinebeck maybe five years ago. The "show" is outstanding. It has some great flying and its very humorous also. I don't know if they have it anymore, but when I went they had a deal where you could pay like $20 and get a half hour flight in an open cockpit biplane (I forget the name of the a/c they used for that, it was something strange, it holds four passengers in two rows of two with the pilot seated centered behind them.) It was a great deal though. Also, on those flights they'll do some aerobatics with you as long as there aren't young children or soccermoms on board. (Sadly when me and my dad went, a soccermom and young daughter went with us so we really didn't get to do much because the poor little girl was scared out of her mind.) I'd definetly suggest checking the place out sometime though.
