OKC or commutable gigs

Have you looked at Martinaire
Yeah. I work at the FBO they park their 208 at and talked to a lot of their pilots when I worked graveyards. Only problem is if I take the Guymon run I'd have to pay for my own hotel up in Guymon and my own transportation up there each week. If I'm a Dallas floater they'd pay for my hotel, airfare to Amarillo, and a rental car round trip to Amarillo, but I'd have to live in Dallas. I've never driven it but I've heard it's a good 4 hours each way from OKC to Guymon. Any other route and I'd need to relocate as well. I'd really love a corporate opportunity in the OKC or surrounding area. Don't mind cleaning or stalking since that's pretty much what I'm doing on line service now. Just trying to connect with people and I feel like it's working better for me now that I've got 1100+ hours rather than before I took the survey job when I worked the line with 300 hours.

I've thought about it. The only problem I have with that is OKC doesn't have Ameriflight here and I'm not really able to move. Do they have flight benefits on anyone? It's a 30 minute flight from OKC to DFW so if it's commutable then maybe.

I'll look into that for you once i'm there!

No way you could get back on with your picto company? Not really sure who would hire you for just 100 hours, besides maybe a dropzone. Probably would get your time faster if you stayed on picto than waste time trying to find a new gig/go through training, if you really just want to get to SKYW asap

I'm probably just going to bite the bullet. I'll finish my multi with about 10 hours. After that I'll need to time build to my 25 multi and maybe another 15 hours of either on top of that. That with my 141 sim time should get me to the magic number the airlines need. I left my survey gig back at the beginning of June. No luck with the pipeline gig. Now I just need to find someone with a cheap multi rental after I pass my checkride. The checkride itself is another story because apparently they are crazy booked up. The next available time the DPE my school uses has isn't until 9/12.
