Ohio based pilots?

Was wonder how many other Ohio based pilots read JC? Any live near Vermilion? If you do lets get together and have a meet and greet!
 
Expect a M&G in NE Ohio here soon. Maybe a month or two. A couple of us have been talking about it, just a matter of finding a good date for the M&G.
 
Well I will be down whenever the meet and greet is. Lets make it a fly in meet and greet if possible at somewhere with a resturant like salem or that one airport by columbus that has the rib shack on the field.
 
Im not from Ohio, but I do tend to do a lot of flying at a Soaring club between DAY and CVG. (Waynesville, OH)

Also, everyone in/around OH should keep an eye out for the Cedar Point MG that will be happening sometime this Spring.

A cedar point M&G would be great, I'd make a trip up for that.

cedar point meet and greet would be great. i live like 15 mins from there. I would probally just ride my motorcycle up though if thats where we decide to do it.
 
I'm originally from GQQ, flying out of TTN for the time being. I'd love to make it to a M&G but I don't really see being able to make it

Why aren't we drinking???? I was just in Warren a few days ago to see a PO......
 
How do you guys fly anywhere up there? I lived 2.5 years in Cbus while at The OSU and I can't remember a time from October to April when it wasn't 500 overcast and freezing. I always thought a GA aircraft would be a waste up there.

It blows....I don't think I'm even within my 90 day currency at the moment.
 
It does suck, but I did get around 13 hours this month! Woohoo!

Anywya if anyone wanted to fly to the M&G we have planned just let complex or I know and we cna pick you up at KCAK or KAKR (summit air).

I agree. I've been seriously trying to find something affordable (probably a club of some sort) that can take the wife and I and maybe a few friends down south for some golfey golfey in the winter, but no one wants to rent a King Air for $180/hr for some reason. :dunno:
