I’d say everyone is. SARs, MERs, and the recent Ebola was bad news but that seemed to have quickly settled down.
Experts saying you could have this virus, up to 10 days with no symptoms, and pass it to other people within 6-10 ft of you even if you don’t touch them. Now that’s scary! You can be infected and infecting others without even knowing it.

Yeah that's the thing, SARS, MERS, and ebola have the common decency to kill patients and prevent further transmission. This is going to kill huge numbers of people because of the high transmission rate and low fatality rate.

Sadly for ALL of us, they don't.
But that's the beauty and horror of viruses, they don't select for shirt. So we ALL get what the galatically stupid deserve. It's a lot like democracy, except viruses are much more democratic...and honest.

I’m almost convinced the economic impacts and the impact on our already drastically screwed up healthcare system in the States may well be worse than the virus (I still call it Wuhan Coronavirus, don’t @ me) itself. But we’ll see.

EVD is not a nice way to go out. But like SARS and MERS, it’s sufficiently lethal that it’s actually difficult to spread.
The CFR, if the Chinese government is to be believed (lol) is like that of the Spanish flu circa a hundred years ago.
