I don’t know the exact details.
But that sure as hell doesn't normally stop you from running your mouth, so why bring it up now?

Read the article. I think it spelled it out and on that article, it would seem that this case counts.
American Eagle’s MEC seems to have put out a statement against PSA.
So…. say your words or hold your peace?
If I recall the AIN piece was basically a rewrite of a press release the Eagle MEC put out.
Just like US Today, does anyone actually pay for AIN?the AIN piece
Kinda coincided with the death of print media, they are desperate for writers (I mean content)That’s pretty much how it works. Write a release, pay for distribution, boom.
Unfortunately with any “prestigious” (i.e. comes with a uniform or title) or high earning job there will be lots of people who aren’t in it for anything else. It’s a big competition. It’s the ultimate culmination of human insecurity. He “made it” and the other guy didn’t, making HIM the winner.
Lot of “DO YOU LOVE ME NOW DADDY” bros walking around in this business.
They open their mouth to tell you how big they are but it only shows they’re really small inside.
One thing we tend to NOT be shy about, and have never been shy about, here is telling people they cannot fly on us anymore.
I mean, yeah, it's an almost unbelievably dickish thing to say, and all of the analysis above as to his character and psychology is, I'm sure, spot on. That said, I don't see the virtue in getting one's knickers twisted and writing an offended missive. You aren't going to talk jerks out of being jerks, and the rest of us already agree with you. That dude's punishment is being that dude, and he's going to be that dude for the rest of his miserable, pecker-measuring life. Water off a duck's back is where it's at. I'd (I hope) have forgotten about it five minutes later.
Not as bad as the "So, you ever want to be a Commercial pilot?"Yes, I STILL get that......
Van driver asked me a weird one yesterday. Asked if we freight pilots were allowed to fly at the same altitudes as commercial planes….

Did you put him on the Hiring Black List all Captains carry around with them?
No..I mean, after you slipped through the cracks I gave up!![]()

Clerical oversight, I'm sure. It being UPS they'll figure it out on day 364...
That’s actually a good question. I don’t think you freight dogs should be sharing our airspace, not until you become commercial pilots.
This exists in every industry.
In accounting, it's whether you've worked for the Big 4 or not and some look down on you if you haven't.
Meanwhile, I didn't work for the Big 4, but I also didn't spend most of my 20s working 70 hour weeks and having to travel to exotic locales such as Fargo, ND and Springfield, MO.
A quality local firm will often give a higher net return, even with a higher fee structure than the biggies, and can also lead one to stronger candidates for internal positions. My experience with those who worked for the big four has been…underwhelming. I think when you have to fill that many seats, a lot of riffraff gets through the doors.
