Doesn't the bus have some weird control limiting that kicks in if it senses WoW?…say if you have to land low wing in a crosswind. I recall reading that infamous wing scrape was the result of the the computer essentially saying “Im on the ground, so you only get THIIIS much control authority”
The control law change in based on RA (goooo 5G!), not wow. The issue is actually the reverse of what you said. During the transition from normal law to ground law, you get FLARE which adds nose down input, forcing you to flare like a normal plane, but instead of G load for pitch input and role rate for bank input, you get a direct and proportional stick to control ratio. The modes get blended, so in strong winds it can get kind of busy trying to figure out the right amount of input to put the wings (and nose) where you want them.
It’s because Airbus landing voodoo starts when you’re still in the air, WoW is still used for traditional stuff like reversers and ground spoilers.Oh well thats neat…In one post I learned at least two things and now finally get why everyone is losing their mind over 5G. Seems like an odd design choice to go by RA though.

Never thought the bus was challenging when the modes change, just look out the window and move the stick to do what you need it to. But you did have to remember when you de-crabbed it would put a little aileron in for you.
I haven’t started yet, but I’ll let you know - think I know my answer after just sitting in the jumpseatNow that you're flying the 737, which airframe do you like better?

It's really only important to notice that when you're doing a Cat 3 approach.
Is there any type of indication or annunciation when the logic changes?
You could watch the whole thing, and I've seen tons of other videos from that angle of normal takeoffs with different aircraft. Long story short, airplanes are jiggly.
Everything about the E145 makes me uncomfortable. Literally. The tail on the E145 on a takeoff roll makes me uncomfortable.

Where in the video was that? The tail on the E145 on a takeoff roll makes me uncomfortable.
I didn’t see any in the few minutes I watched. It was just a general statement from years of watching the horizontal stab shake like jello at the beginning of takeoff roll.Where in the video was that?
