I was getting stamped. I think the only thing I had to do after that was the MMPI and then some physician pulled me off to the side to warn me about the use of... brace yourselves... Tylenol PM.

apparently if you use it you basically forfeit your right to work for the FAA.

time to stock up on valarian root

Did anybody else have trouble with the AME? Everyone else was great including the other doctors but man, I think the AME's office hates me. I'm glad I will not be in that region.

Spoke with Terri Owens about the letters that go out to the employers, and she stated that it can take 1 to 2 weeks before they even go out.

You might want to rethink that. Valarian root has been known to cause false positives for benzodiazepines in drug testing.

I got a phone call today from a couple of my references that they had received letters asking about me. Anyone else?

How long does it take from the time the panels meet until you're notified of facility selection? Right away or weeks?

weeks. i received my geo pref on 8/11/08 and received PEPC invite 10/10/08 for pubnat 2

Thanks. So the PEPC invite always comes in the same email as notification of facility selection?

That is correct. However, I think it was more like 2-4 months wait for us PUBNAT3-4ers between panels and PEPC invites.

Didn't it take over 2 months? I'm looking at your signature from geo prefs to PEPC invite, 11/20/08 - 1/29/09.

PUB 5/6 folks are starting to get our guesses going for when we'll hear something. We sent in our geo prefs late March, our panel is allegedly meeting late this month. Using you guys (2, 3, 4) as a guide I guessed no earlier than late May before we get the selection/PEPC emails. Possibly later.

I don't know how long it takes for the regional office to recieve the MMPI test results.

Just called this morning to the regional office and was told the MMPI results have not been recieved yet for the recent PEPC.

Wanted to update you all.

Who did you contact to check the information? I tried going back to other threads to find the info. I remember there was one place that had the medical stuff that would release your information once they finished and I think I remember in another thread there was a certain place or person you could call to check on the mmpi.

I tried sending an email to my hr rep last week just for a feeler, but just got told no class info until fol.

I guess just more sitting and waiting. At least the biggest waits are done with no we just have to find out if we are crazy or not and wait for some clearance to come through.

I contacted the regional office at (847) 294-7491 (this is only the number if you went to the Chicago PEPC) and let them know you are checking on your medical clearance. They will ask if you are a pilot or controller and will then transfer you to someone who can answer any medical clearance questions.

With the very active "Failed MMPI" thread, I am getting anxious about the results!

Did they give you any indication as to how long it would be before they had the results?
