Official PUBNAT2 Referral List

i think you need to prove yourself. no offense, but you haven't been very regular on here, and there have been people who have "cried wolf" before. so why don't you copy and paste your letter so we know you are for real. even then, how do we know that you're not a PUBNAT1 just trying to get us all worked up?
 
i apologize for not seeing the earlier post. i had not seen that post with the letter. there are only 3 conclusions i have. 1) you are from PUBNAT1 and playing a horribly rude joke 2) they sent out terminal PEPC invites 3)they are doing this alphabetically and your last name starts with an A.

My last name starts with a T and I received the email for terminal selection.

First of all Congrats to those that received the email and I hope you are excited because it really is awesome!!! Remember to hang in there because the waiting doesn't stop until you get to OKC and then it's like everything speeds up to triple time here...Half the time it's like your head is going to spin right off. Something to look forward to!!!:panic:

As for your post cboy40 and others who have the same negative attitude..... Well....that is probably the rudest thing I have ever seen on this site.

Try Congratulations first...then if you are skeptical wait and see if others get notification. It has to start somewhere and you guys in this thread and others jumped right down their throats. Imagine if you got the email first and that was the response you got from the people that you had been going through this process with. Personally I would not want to tell you anything else. That is so RUDE! I know the waiting sucks I waited 14 months to get my class date, but I never once said anything like that I was greatful for the information because believe it or not 98% of the information that gets passed around on this site it Legit. You got caught up on the 2% and can't seem to let it go. Even when you do get the Letter telling you you have been selected for a PEPC you still have to wait to get the Letter for the PEPC then wait for the PEPC then the FOL and then your class to start. As much as it sucks...Chill Out!

FYI when you get to the Academy, the thing that is stressed the most is team work and looking out for your fellow controllers....not throwing them under the bus. I am just disgusted. :mad:

I have read some of your other posts and want to thank you for the information you have given. It is very helpful. Good luck to you.

Also my post of receiving my initial contact from an HR rep was not for a congrats but more to inform people that the emails are obviously coming out. I would definately want to know if others were receiving emails from the faa especially if I have not received one yet. Good luck to everyone else as well.

the one problem with typing everything is that you don't understand voice inflection. in no way was i trying to be rude. all i was doing was saying what everyone else has said on stuckmic. we all just want to know the truth. don't think that i don't know we have to wait. my best friend's dad was a supervisor at a center and waited for a year after his test to hear anything from the FAA. i TRULY know we have to wait. i'm glad that this person received his letter. i'm just in denial with everybody else who hasn't received one because what it seems like to us is a step closer to us not getting a letter, which none of us wants to happen. pardon those of us who are a little skeptical at this point. i also apologize to the new guy if i hurt any feelings although it seems the only one that has been agitated was you my friend. hope things are going well for you in OKC.
 
ok, so here is my shot to making things positive. maybe they are doing it by region like somebody else said. it started in the southeast, maybe it will get to us tomorrow? here's to wishful thinking! :D
 
There probably won't be another email to anyone before the PEPC invites. It sounds like these guys just got a HR rep that is ahead of their game and getting the paperwork they need early. Lucky for them.

Doesn't look that way as others are starting to post receiving emails from their hr reps.
 
I received my email today at 6:22am PST. I am in California. I selected CA & WA. I am well qualified. There is another thread specifically for the initial contact email if you guys wanna head over there to see what others are saying. Good luck to us all.

Thanks for the comments/crowd control! I'm trying to take your advice (after a few glasses of wine and some cheese...) and I feel better today, for sure.

One thing's for sure...we should be EXPERT WAITERS soon!

--- Regarding the PEPC email that I did not get (YET:panic:) ---

From my research throughout this form, and others pertaining to Pubnat2, it appears that for OTS, only Well Qualified people have received a PEPC invite via email.

Secondly, Anyone from OTS (that I've seen on Jet Careers) that did receive the PEPC invite, did on 10/10/2008.

Thirdly, this appears to be across the states, so I don't think they are doing this by region, but maybe by AT-SAT sections (ex... well qualified, then qualified).

At least, that's what I've seen, and that's what I'm hoping, considering, I scored only qualified on the AT-SAT....

Any thoughts?

If my memory serves me, unless they had veteran's preference points, no one from pubnat1 who was not well qualified got an email. I think.

I don't have any "official" information about the PEPC invites, but I personally believe they're all out and, at this point, anyone who didn't get one isn't going to.

But Chichi,

You didn't get one? and you scored Well Qualified?? That doesn't make any sense, unless it had something to do with your Geo Pref, because in another post, a guy with 87%, or something, got an invite. But he was in a different Geo Pref I think......

Maybe, Just maybe, there is more to come... we will see.

How do you re-apply for the next PubNat's???? Are there any openings now? I didn't see any...
