Are you still breathing? If so then pretty good.:tease:
I'm hoping that the race card gives me a bump.
You've got to be kidding me.
While waiting to take my ATSAT I was hangin' out talking to this guy and girl. The guy tells the girl "Well since you're female you're automatically in. Just like when I tried to be a cop, I got denied but all the females who tried out made it. I'm sure that's why you got your job now." Since she is currently employed as a cop.
I'm hoping that the race card gives me a bump.
Maybe he got denied cause he is a sexist dickhead?
I'm female and I don't feel like anything is owed to me just because I was born with boobs
This ought to be the most pathetic statement I ever read on this website, which incidentally is owned/moderated by an accomplished african-american pilot who I am sure would gripe at the idea that a "race card" may be his only gateway to a cockpit.
I guess to each their own: while some members of ethnic minority groups are actually proud and talented individual who put effort into things and welcome fair competition and selection-hence playing an ACTIVE role in accomplishing their goals, others simply like to hope for affirmative action to enable to them to cut in front other, possibly more qualified, candidates of a different, non-minority race.
:yeahthat:
