OCD Diagnosis

Greetings, I am a soon to graduate college student planning to start flight lessons in May. I have always wanted to fly for the airlines and I am currently in limbo waiting for the next response from the FAA regarding my first class medical. I was already given the certificate but they wanted more info regarding my mild to moderate OCD diagnosis. I have sent them the requested information and they said they are forwarding my medical records to the Federal Air Surgeon's Office for review. I have had others tell me that I should not worry too much about it because I have never taken any medication for the issue. I have also stopped seeing my therapist about a year and a half ago as we both agreed I no longer needed his services. It would really put my mind at ease if someone could tell me what my chances of flying professionally are given my diagnosis. Sorry if this question has been answered before. This forum has always been very helpful.

Does anyone know if I will be required to take a psychological test because of my OCD or is this something that only people who took medication for mental health issues need to do? Are these tests tricky? Is there a time limit?
Thanks again, I would appriciate any insight.

I did a forum search and it seems that I may not need to do anything other than send in the psychological status report from the therapist, which I have already done. Will that be enough for them to make a determination for my medical in regards to my OCD history? In the above post you said I would need a current psychiatric evaluation. Is that what my records are or is that something extra I will need to do?
Thanks Doctor!

The psychological status report I sent in regards to my OCD history was prepared for me based on the last time I saw the therapist, which was over a year ago. I did not make an actual appointment with her to get the evaluation. Will I need to make an appointment with my therapist to get a new evaluation?

One last question, if I do get my medical denied because of my OCD, what are my options? I believe you can re-apply in a year, correct?
Thanks Dr. Forred.
