OA-1K Crash in OK

Years ago I used to see ads in Trade-a-Plane for a job flying the AT-802U variant with the DEA. It read something like high tailwheel time, must have clearance, comfortable receiving small arms fire, bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

I always laughed and thought that would be a small pool of potential applicants.

I mean, maybe not such a small pool. Taildragger time aside (which might be a side/you-do-you off-duty hobby), I think the other requirements are met by most military RW aviators who flew in combat in the last 25 years. At least those who haven't been swooped up by the various RTP programs in as many years. Might be less fertile ground there because of that, these days though......or at least up until a couple years ago.
