NY approach

I want to extend thanks to the south approach controller for attempting to coordinate some aerial survey work yesterday. Although I couldn't get in it appeared to me that this controller went above and beyond in trying to get the requisite permissions from LGA and EWR departures.

If any of you work in the TRACON and know who was working around 10 am, please issue a heartfelt thanks from 6098X.
 
Those folks do quite a good job usually.

I miss flying in NY. I would trade it for DTW (where im stuck mostly) in a heartbeat.
 
Do you remember what freq you were on, Im in the LGA area I'll send the message. The call sign looks familiar I may have spoken to you before.

And I'm sure we've talked on the air since we hit up NY almost every sunny day... :)
