NWA employees?

I'm not really sure if this is "kosher" but I was hoping there might be an NWA employee who could check loads for a flight today, as I'm considering standing by for an earlier flight but if I don't make it, I'd end up waiting 8 hours at the Indy airport (yawn)...

Flights 503/781 for today (So basically if you're reading this after 3:30 Eastern, it's too late, heh).

Since I know anonymity is key, PM is the best way.

If this is "propriety information" then I apologize for the waste of time, I just have my gambling problem in full swing, and want to get to Vegas a little earlier :)

I can't tell you about loads, but I think that the NWA system is probably a disaster today. We're in the middle of rather severe snow storm in MSP which has cancelled and delayed a bunch of flights in and out of the Cities (including my sister's :( ). I would imagine that it's probably screwing things up systemwide.

It's extremely slow going at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, where heavy snow and high winds were wreaking havoc.

The airport is open, but arriving and departing flights are experiencing an average delay of two hours, said airport spokesman Pat Hogan. The airport normally uses three runways simultaneously, but at 9 a.m. today the airport was using only one and sometimes two runways.

"We've been able to keep up with the plowing, but the blowing wind is causing them to ice over quickly," Hogan said. "The visibility has been just as much as a problem as the snow."

Hogan said a few flights have been cancelled, but most are just delayed. Those traveling should contact their airlines, he said.

Good point, and strangely enough they have taken away the option for me to standby for that flight, so I guess I'll just be staying here until 7.

Mods, feel free to delete this thread :)
