NTSB: Selfies cause fatal CO crash

Does the 150 not fly well in clouds? Must be those special cloud physics.

I had a "passenger" tell me about those once. They informed me if we had been in a learjet that the cumulus clouds would have contained no turbulence.

What the heck are you talking about? I quoted his post agreeing with the poor judgment exercised by this particular pilot by taking off in to low IMC without an IFR clearance, and not being legally night current. Do you agree that this is an example of poor judgment?

Your response is utterly puzzling to me.

Somehow I missed the vfr part in Old Pete's post. The fact that it was a 150(with only that information about the airplane) has no bearing on crashing VFR in IMC.

"GoPro found in Air Asia wreckage. Pilots filming crazy video before disappearing off radar"

"The pilot made some slight negative-G control movements and Passenger #2 was entertained."

Ok, that's it. Anyone want to buy my GoPro? As epitaphs go, this one sucks almost as bad as the pilot who was having sex with her passenger.

Did he really have to take his friend flying at midnight? Why not just wait until day time and clear skies?

The answer would be a function of how good a magazine selection there is up front.
This is truth. I have to admit...I am very disappointed with my fellow FOs. Every time I see a People Magazine Us Weekly crammed behind the seat I lose a little bit of hope for the future of our industry.

I was on final at night 1st Sunday in January. Saw my passenger hold up their iPhone but didn't give it a second thought. FLASH!

Please don't FLASH do that again.
