It's all about cost. Packages can be moved cheaply in an airplane from the 1960s and pilot paid 28k a year. Drones are looking like a better and better option, while pilots look at their paychecks going up and rejoicing!

I always find this as a funny argument when most cargo airlines seem to rely on buying cheaper planes passenger airlines wore out.

Dubai (and it's government) is a joke. They don't even have a sewer system. It's all a distraction to convince themselves they are modern, but they aren't.

Most of these gadgets are just big quad copters, no real innovation from their little RC cousins. I think this is all like the hype of the 1960s jetpacks. They were supposed to be the modern conveyance (so they thought)! Here we are, 50 years later, still with four rubber wheels and internal combustion engines.
