Thanks. I fly a plane with RR engines and NOBODY in the training department could answer that question for me. The line mechanic I asked said it was "exhaust".
Well he was telling the truth...it is an exhaust for the accessory gearbox. Our mechanics were baffled by the same thing when we got our first 717s from AirTran.Thanks.
