Now that's a short landing (a350)

Thanks. I fly a plane with RR engines and NOBODY in the training department could answer that question for me. The line mechanic I asked said it was "exhaust".
Well he was telling the truth...it is an exhaust for the accessory gearbox. Our mechanics were baffled by the same thing when we got our first 717s from AirTran.

Yeah, but when I ask a mechanic something I (generally) expect a slightly more technical answer.

I'm putting PHLI-EDDF as a route suggestion in my Na' Leo

I just flew with a guy last night who was on his last 717 trip before going to the 767 (y'all will be really lucky to have him over there... awesome guy) and he was saying that he'll probably get all the LIH trips this summer because none of the 767 captains that never flew inter island will want to go in there.

I don't even know what this sentence means.

PHLI is Lihue Airport.

EDDF is Frankfort Airport

Na' Leo (which I think means "blending together") is an in house survey we do every year to get a feel for the employee group's level of satisfaction, happiness, wants etc.
